About my work:
I work with a variety of clients navigating transitions throughout different stages of life. Whether you are experiencing grief, divorce, postpartum changes, family loss, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling overwhelmed by a new season of life, I strive to provide a supportive and compassionate space where you feel genuinely heard and understood.
I especially enjoy working with women, mothers, young adults, and older adults, as well as children and teens adjusting to life changes or emotional challenges. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and integrative, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as CBT and EMDR to best support your individual needs. I believe therapy should feel personalized, and during our first few sessions we will work together to determine what approaches feel most effective and meaningful for you.
Treatment often involves developing practical coping strategies, increasing insight into patterns of thoughts and behaviors, processing past experiences when appropriate, and building skills to improve emotional regulation and resilience. I understand that many people never feel completely “ready” for therapy, and sometimes the first step is simply having someone willing to sit with you, listen, and support you where you are.
In our work together, trust is one of the most important foundations. I aim to create a space that feels supportive, nonjudgmental, and authentic. One client recently shared, “I feel like I just had a FaceTime call with someone who truly gets me, but in a healthy and therapeutic way,” and that deeply reflects the type of connection I hope clients experience in session.
Outside of therapy, I am usually spending time outdoors soaking in the sunshine or curled up with a good book. As both a therapist and a mom navigating young motherhood myself, I value self-care that goes beyond routines and checklists. I believe in making time for the things that genuinely bring joy, fulfillment, and connection in everyday life.
