About my Work
I bring a calm, grounded, and genuine presence to therapy, and I work intentionally to create a space that feels safe, cozy, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. With blankets and pillows always on hand, sessions are designed to help you feel at ease—because I believe healing happens best when people feel comfortable being themselves.
I especially enjoy working with children and teens who are struggling to find their voice, understand who they are, or express their needs to the people around them. I also work closely with adults who are ready to heal from past trauma that continues to impact their lives today. My experience includes supporting survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking across all ages, as well as families navigating trauma, blended family dynamics, and major life transitions.
My therapy style is warm, laid-back, and deeply validating, while also being honest and direct when needed. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed approaches to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while building practical tools to manage stress, anxiety, depression, OCD, and behavioral concerns. Early sessions often focus on understanding your story, offering emotional support, and creating a strong foundation of trust and connection.
Clients often share that working with me feels real and authentic. I show up as a genuine human—someone who isn’t afraid to challenge unhelpful patterns, reflect what I notice, and still provide consistent care and support. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the most important part of the work, and that finding the right “fit” truly matters for meaningful progress.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy crafting, working on puzzles, and listening to audiobooks whenever I can—small joys that help me recharge and stay present both personally and professionally.
