I am a Master level Social Work intern who brings a warm, supportive, and collaborative presence to therapy. I believe that meaningful progress begins with connection, and I prioritize creating a space where clients feel safe, respected, and truly heard. My goal is for clients to leave sessions feeling lighter, more understood, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges.
I most enjoy working with children and young adults, especially those experiencing anxiety and ADHD. Much of my clinical experience so far has centered on supporting clients with anxiety, ADHD, and depression, and I am deeply interested in continuing to grow my skills in trauma-informed work. I also have experience working with PTSD and bring a strong case management background, which helps me support clients not only emotionally, but also in navigating systems that can often feel overwhelming.
My therapy style is warm, validating, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership, and I strive to meet clients where they are while honoring their pace and goals. I draw from trauma-informed care, person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused approaches, and integrative techniques to best fit each client’s unique needs.
In the first few sessions, clients can expect a strong focus on rapport-building and creating a sense of safety and trust. I believe that without connection, progress is difficult, and I take time to ensure clients feel comfortable before moving into deeper work.
Outside of therapy, I am a mom of three and a graduate student who enjoys photography, reading, and collecting (probably too many) plants. These parts of my life help ground me and remind me of the importance of balance, patience, and compassion—both personally and professionally.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if past experiences or stress have made it hard to trust systems meant to help. I approach therapy with curiosity, respect, and a nonjudgmental lens, and I am here to walk alongside clients on their healing journey—whatever that looks like for them.
