Yes! Finding you the perfect fit is our top priority. We want to make sure that you are getting everything you need out of your therapy experience. If something doesn't feel right, you can talk with your current clinician, or contact our intake team anytime.
No, Human Kind provides talk-therapy. However, we are happy to collaborate with other providers when necessary to provide the best care we can.
A therapist provides talk therapy to help with emotional, behavioral, and relational concerns. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who can prescribe medication. Some people work with one, while others work with both as part of their care.
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any questions you have. There’s no pressure to share everything at once. This is a supportive space where we move at your pace.
Therapy can be helpful if you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or simply looking for clarity and growth. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit; many people use therapy as a proactive tool for mental and emotional well-being.
