About my Work

I specialize in working with children and adolescents who struggle with big emotions, anxiety, trauma, and behavior challenges. My goal is to help kids feel safe, understood, and capable while they learn skills that support them at home, at school, and in their relationships.

I take a strengths-based, supportive approach and work hard to meet each child exactly where they are developmentally and emotionally. In sessions, we focus on building emotional awareness, improving regulation and impulse control, and developing coping strategies that feel realistic and usable in everyday life. I’m especially mindful of how anxiety, attachment needs, and school-related stress can show up in kids, and I tailor my approach to support those challenges with patience and care.

I also believe strongly in partnering with parents and caregivers. While I don’t provide individual therapy for adults, I regularly offer parent consultation and family support so caregivers feel empowered with tools, language, and strategies to support progress outside of sessions. When parents feel supported, kids tend to do better — and that collaboration is a key part of my work.

Above all, I aim to create a warm, consistent space where children and families feel supported as they grow and navigate challenges together.
