About My Work
Hi, I’m Miesha Little! I am a Master of Social Work student at Walden University completing my advanced internship at Human Kind Mental Health Services. My background includes helping individuals and families navigate mental health services, connect with resources, and advocate for their needs.
I enjoy working with clients across different stages of life. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, navigating a transition, having difficulty expressing your emotions, or being hard on yourself, I want to offer a space where you can talk openly and feel heard. You do not have to have everything figured out before reaching out for support.
My approach is collaborative. I take time to understand what brings you to therapy, what matters to you, and what you hope will change. Together, we can explore patterns in your thoughts and feelings, develop practical coping skills, strengthen communication, and recognize the strengths you already bring. I also believe it is important to consider how relationships, responsibilities, identity, and everyday pressures affect your well-being.
Therapy looks different for everyone. Some clients appreciate space to talk and reflect, while others benefit from structure, activities, or creative expression. My goal is to work alongside you at a pace that feels manageable and help you make progress toward goals that are meaningful to you.
