About my work

Working with children and adolescents requires patience, creativity, and a deep respect for each child’s individuality. I bring a warm, compassionate presence to every session, with a strong belief that meaningful progress begins by meeting children exactly where they are. My approach centers on building trust and connection first, creating a safe and supportive environment where children feel understood, valued, and accepted.

I work with children across a wide range of needs, including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, emotional and behavioral challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, and developmental delays. Many of the children I support experience difficulties with emotional regulation, impulse control, peer relationships, or coping with stressors at home, school, or in their broader environment. By honoring each child’s unique strengths, needs, and pace, therapy becomes a space for growth rather than pressure.

In sessions, I focus on helping children build emotional awareness, practical coping skills, and problem-solving strategies they can use in everyday life. Whether a child is learning how to express big feelings, navigate social situations, or manage challenging behaviors, my goal is to help them develop confidence and skills that extend beyond the therapy room.

Above all, I am committed to creating a therapeutic relationship where children feel safe to be themselves and supported as they grow.
